Dreadful mornings, and mourning your mistake

Nothing could be worse than waking up in the morning alone, not knowing how you got there, and being in your clothes from the night before. Unless then you go and check your cell phone and you have a text saying "so not cute, goodnight" from the guy you were hoping to hook up with. I speak from experience on this one ladies... it's the worst feeling ever. Their is only one way to possibly scrape your face from the floor on this on... apologize. Now I am never one for saying sorry, but when you mess up, you pick up. There are a few routes to this .. texting, emailing, calling or 'running into' said person. When texting be obviously embarrassed and sincere. E-mailing, send a picture of you with a sad face holding a sign saying I'm really sorry i was a bad date. Calling, you will get sent straight to voicemail; it's fine just leave the most sincere apology of your life. If you run into the person be shy, coy and sincere. If you notice all of these tell you to be sincere, don't talk about how 'wicked wasted' you were it comes off like you're a big slut. Be sincere, polite and honest. What's the worst thing that happens, he doesn't call back? If one drunken night ruins your friendship/hooking-up/dating thing, then it was a waste anyway.

The fall downs of the drunk text.

Everyone does it. You just need to be honest and admit it. But you also really need to stop it...seriously. No one thinks its cute to be woken up at 4 am with a text that says... " I juzz wanna to get to know you betta." If you wanted to get to know me, please start with the small fact that I might have a job and need to get up early, or want to sleep. Also, if you're trying to impress a girl, don't send her corny pick up lines. "Are you from the north, because baby I want you to whoop my ass" is also not a good one. Lets just stick with don't text before the third date. While this may seem like common knowledge to you, to many it's clearly not. Ladies (classy ones) also really appreciate calls over texts. If you text someone, they usually don't understand the inflection of your tone, so somethings may not come out completely understood.

So here's the bottom line ladies and gentlemen; once 12 am comes around, or your 3rd drink of the night, turn the cell phone off. You'll thank me in the morning.
